As important as our faces, our hands require the same care. Hands are responsible for most of our daily tasks and handle harmful products. We have provided beauty tips for your hands to make them soft and beautiful. Continue reading to learn the best home remedies for pampering your hands.
Here are some steps to make your hands soft and beautiful
Moisturize your hands:
After washing your hands thoroughly, apply a quality hand moisturizer. Use a lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer in summer and a heavier moisturizer like a body butter in winter. You can use more moisturizing in winter because the skin tends to be dry.
Pamper the hands:
A manicure should be done at least once per month. A manicure will give your hands a thorough clean, exfoliation and massage. Your hands will be nourished with this deep treatment.
Wash your hands:
Make sure to wash your hands with lukewarm water throughout the year. The skin can be damaged by too hot or too cold water. Normal dish soap is not recommended as harsh on the skin. It also drys the skin quickly.
Scrub:
Use a good exfoliating product to scrub your hands at least once per week and remove any dead skin. You don’t have the time or money to purchase one. You can make one yourself. Mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil and fine sugar together with half a lemon juice. You can also add one drop of your favorite essential oil to make something completely different. Now you have your homemade exfoliating soap.
Tip: This scrub can be used without olive oil. Use mild soap and warm water to wash your hands if you have used the oil. You can use the oil without the olive oil. Just rinse your hands with warm water and dry them.
Massage:
Allow the moisturizer to soak in for five minutes by massaging your hands every night. Mix your moisturizer with Vaseline to protect your hands all night.
Protect your hands:
Rubber gloves are recommended for protecting your hands when you’re doing chores like gardening, washing dishes, or handling chemicals, grease, or dirt.
File and trim:
File your nails in one direction, not in a seesaw motion. Nail peeling can be caused by a seesaw action, which can cause nail layers to become separated. It would help if you trimmed your nails every two weeks or as often as needed.
Paint your nails:
Use a base coat to protect your nails from stains when you paint them. A base coat will help your nail polish last longer.
Protect your cuticles:
Use high-quality cuticle oil or cream to prevent your cuticles from drying out and roughening. You are looking for an alternative that you can make at home? You can apply a few drops to your hands every night for at least two weeks. Then wash them with warm water the next morning. Your hands will feel softer when you wake up.
Take care of your health:
It is important to eat what you like. To maintain healthy nails and keep your hands soft and supple, you should include Vitamin B, Vitamin E, and Proteins in your diet.
