How to determine your eye shape
Start by looking in the mirror at your eyes. Make sure that you don’t have any makeup on. Next, follow these steps:
1. Take a look at how much of your eyelid you can see and what creases are visible. Monolids are those with little or no crease. You may have hooded or hidden eyes if your crease is not visible.
2. You can pretend to draw a straight line across your eyes or grab a ruler or credit card to mark the line visually. Take a look at the corners of each eye to see where they are. If your corners are higher than the line, then you have upturned eyes. Conversely, if the corners are lower than the line, it is possible to have downturned eyes.
3. Next, look at the whites of both your eyes and your iris. You can see the whites at the top and bottom your iris with round eyes.
